A good size, reaching about 3 1/4". The females I have are a hefty looking mantis, and the males are a good size too. They will tackle any kind of feeder insect and are not timid. They have a small eye on the edge of each wing. This species is kept as a pet only and can not be released in the U. S. A good container for this species is the Large round & the large hex!
