Common name: Peacock praying mantis due to the large eye on the wings. My favorite in color and length. Very rare to find. A beautiful mantis and easy to raise, difficult to breed. The inside of the wings have the eye on the peacock bird tail feathers, and it is beautiful. The mantis colors are many browns ranging from light to dark. This mantis is kept only as a pet and cannot be released in the U.S.
