A long lived large mantis. Growth is around 4". A beautiful green mantis with a large appetite. This species like the basalis have a nice sheild on the back, only this one is really large! They are docile and easily will walk around on you and feed right next to you while you are working near them. They are found in India. This species is kept as a pet only and can not be released in the U. S. I find it an easy species to raise. They are best kept in the Large Round or the  X Large Hexagon.
