Common name: Cryptic mantis. From S. Africa a smaller unique mantis, reaching 2 1/2" at female adult and 2" as male adult. Colors range from a blueish green to heavy green. They do well in a smaller container, the medium round is idea. They like a hot enviroment, 82F to 88F with a lot of humidity. This mantis looks a lot like the texan or violin, it is a mixture of both. Not native to the US & cannot be released, keep only as pet. this mantis lives a long time.
