A small mantis reaching a little over 1" and very docile. The males are a little smaller then females. Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Flores, Sumba, Sulawesi, Borneo, and the Philippines This species is kept as a pet only and can not be released in the U. S. They eat house flies and stable flies along with crickets and the occasional mealworm. A good size container for this species is the Medium Round or Small Round.
