Origin from Australia, reaching 4 1/2 inches, a very long mantis! Not many in the hobby are found this big. They are a brown mantis with dark spots and with short wings on the female, males have longer wings. A large container for this mantis is required. This mantis is kept only as a pet and cannot be released into the U.S.
