I like to call this the Q mantis, because it appears to have a Q on its wings. It is a small mantis reaching only an inch an a half at the most. It closely resembles the P. Wahlbergii and is in fact closely related. The females have a lacy look to their wings. They eat smaller flies and crickets, occasionally taking meal worms and moths. Their colors are mainly white and green with some gold and black mixed in. This species is kept as a pet only and can not be released in the U. S. The container for them is the Small Round.
